ArcelorMittal USA launches environmental website

Our USA Environmental team has worked very hard to create a website that would communicate our commitment to protect and improve the environment to our employees and external stakeholders. Our vision became a reality with the recent launch of the USA Environmental website available at www.arcelormittal.com/environment/us.

We believe that environmental protection and improvement plays an integral role in the way we do business. This one-stop informational resource will give employees, shareholders, environmental organisations and the general public solid examples of our commitment to the world around us.

Not only can visitors read about the specific partnerships and programmes underway at many USA facilities or access important regulatory requirement information, there is also a link to a climate change video featuring some of the top minds in the science of climate change and greenhouse gas emissions, as well as a link to a web camera system in Cleveland, Ohio that monitors a peregrine falcon family that calls ArcelorMittal Cleveland home. While still considered “work in progress”, this site will be updated often and expanded to include additional resources to serve both internal and external audiences.
