Photo Competition – And the winner is…!

For the last issue of our internal company magazine boldspirit in 2007, we launched a global internal photo competition for ArcelorMittal employees entitled “Picture our values!” The theme of the competition was how our people around the world live our values of Sustainability, Quality and Leadership during their work day to help transform tomorrow. Now the results of the company-wide vote are out, and the winner is…

Anish Jain, our Romanian colleague who took this beautiful picture of a welding worker. Congratulations, Anish!
Anish is 35 years old and has been working as a Finance Manager for ArcelorMittal Hunedoara, in Romania, for 4 years. He was very happy to have the opportunity to show his commitment to Safety and would like to share his message with everyone: “we should always follow Safety while working”.

Krishtian Serrato’s photo “Welcome to life” came second, followed by Stanislav Lebedinskiy’s “Blast furnace keeper.” Prizes will be awarded to the top 6 photographs, the first prize being an Apple MacBook.
