Health and Safety – “We can all be an example for our colleagues”

On March 6, ArcelorMittal will celebrate its second worldwide Health and Safety Day. Here is what Delphine Bastien, Project Manager for H&S Day, says about the event!

ArcelorMittal’s second Health & Safety Day takes place under the motto ‘a step forward in leading by example’. The objective is to communicate on H&S issues and to better integrate H&S Day actions within the Group initiatives, as well as to define locally how to better take a step forward together towards the objective of zero fatalities.

Delphine Bastien advises everyone to make the most of the day and says that all can be an example to their colleagues. She and the project team have been preparing this event designed to support ArcelorMittal H&S programmes and to add value to the Company. In addition, H&S Day preparation has been relayed everywhere in the Group. It takes hundreds of people working directly at a local level to make this day a success!
