ArcelorMittal announces final number of fatalities of Abaiskaya mine accident

Luxembourg, 14 January 2008 – ArcelorMittal regrets to announce that the final number of fatalities in the Abaiskaya mine accident is 30 people.

Lakshmi Mittal, CEO and President, expresses his sincerest condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims and has been travelling this week to Kazakhstan to offer his personal support.
