D-Day: an historical day for Stainless and Electric Steels Brazil

October 15 was a special date at ArcelorMittal – Stainless and Electric Steels in Timóteo, Brazil. Called ‘D-Day’, the objective of the event was to increase the alignment to the identity, values and culture of the ArcelorMittal Group.

On October 15, the working day began with the raising of the flags of Brazil, the European Union, the State of Minas Gerais, the Municipal District and of ArcelorMittal. D-Day involved employees from several cities where ArcelorMittal – Stainless and Electric steels Brazil has activities: São Paulo, Belo Horizonte, Vitória, Jequitinhonha Valley and Timóteo. After a meeting, the employees received an ArcelorMittal brand kit.

During his recent visit to ArcelorMittal Timóteo on September 20 Mr Mittal had said that he was very impressed, adding that Timóteo was a model for the stainless steel industry in terms of product quality, productivity, efficiency and accomplishments.

The Leaderships of ArcelorMittal – Stainless and Electric Steels – Brazil had taken part between October 8 and 10, the objective being to level concepts and to present information about ArcelorMittal’s values and identity, which shall then be cascaded to the respective teams.
