2007 China Suppliers’ Conference in Shanghai (China)
From September 4 to 6 2007, ArcelorMittal executives and 300 attendees from more than 140 Chinese supplier companies participated in the conference held in the Jinmao tower in Shanghai, China.
Apart from ArcelorMittal executives addressing the audience, key Chinese suppliers gave presentations on their cooperation with ArcelorMittal and engaged in active business development meetings. Attendees had the opportunity to network, engage in business discussions and learn about ArcelorMittal’s purchase strategy in China.
The main objectives of the conference were to explain ArcelorMittal’s procurement ambitions in China, and to strengthen the partnership with its Chinese suppliers. China has gained great importance as a supplier country and ArcelorMittal has recently signed several projects with Chinese suppliers.
