Brand launch in Zumárraga (Spain)
The ArcelorMittal plant in Zumárraga, Guipúzcoa, presented the Group’s new image on July 17.
The first part of the celebration took place in the factory for the whole workforce. The second part, held at a local congress centre, was attended by local authorities, media, leading suppliers, representatives of subcontractors and leading customers. The two-part presentation chaired by plant manager Juan Kessler was a great success.
Among the attendees were the mayors of the two municipalities in which the plant stands: Urretxu and Zumárraga. The mayor of Zumárraga especially congratulated the company on the improvements of its production processes, resulting in increased environmental quality.
At the end of the event each guest was presented with a commemorative gift together with a catalogue presenting the ArcelorMittal group and its values.
