The ArcelorMittal plant in Villaverde, in the province of Madrid, was the setting for a number of events on June 27 to mark the company’s change of corporate image.

In a marquee erected for the occasion, attendees viewed a presentation of the “new” ArcelorMittal featuring large-screen video projections, posters, advertising banners and an address from plant manager Jesús María Antía, all of which stressed the messages defining the group’s values: Sustainability, Quality and Leadership.

The main event was also attended by top-level representatives of numerous companies and public sector organisations that maintain links with this significant plant in the long products sector. At the end of the event the guests were served a selection of typical Spanish gastronomic products.

Everyone who attended the various events held during the day was presented with an environmentally friendly torch in the spirit of the environmental ethos of our company. Everyone also received a corporate brochure as a letter of presentation of ArcelorMittal to society and to its employees.
