Bremen brand launch “Fundamental Encounter – Steel!” (Germany)

In a fiery event, ArcelorMittal Bremen celebrated not only the launch of the new corporate brand but also 50 years of steel production.

More than 4,000 guests attended the four-day celebration of the ArcelorMittal corporate brand from June 28 to July 1 2007 at the headquarters of ArcelorMittal Bremen.

The event was attended by Group Management Board (GMB) Member Michel Wurth, who said in his address to the crowd that ArcelorMittal was positive about the modernisation of Bremen’s blast furnace 3 and was confident that Bremen’s best performance was in the future.

The prelude of the VIP-event was the plant visitation, followed by a spectacular show including a performance of two magicians who bent steel rails in front of the audience. Even steel experts were wondering how this was possible and the show was a big success. On the following three days, employees and their families came to celebrate ArcelorMittal’s new brand along with the company’s 50th anniversary.
