On June 19, the President of Costa Rica, Oscar Arias Sánchez, together with the Minister of International Trade, Marco Vinício Ruiz, accompanied by other authorities, visited the ArcelorMittal Laminadora e Trefilería Costarricense Plant.

President Oscar Arias Sánchez highlighted the importance of the presence of a company such as ArcelorMittal in his country. He also expressed his satisfaction with the numbers shown by the unit, which in the last year significantly increased its steel exportation, and added that the company was committed to Costa Rican development.

The Laminadora e Trefilería Costarricense is a joint-venture between ArcelorMittal and the Pujol Group, organized in three industrial units, which in 2006 produced 185 thousand tons of rolled steel, and 31 thousand tons of drawn products.

I am very impressed with the company …
I wonder if there are opportunities for professionals from 45?
I´m an industriall engineer and my experience is in sales and production of audiovisual materials.
