2006 SOx project successfully concluded
ArcelorMittal management acknowledges and highly appreciates all the efforts deployed in accomplishing the Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOx) compliance for the year 2006. The company will benefit from an improved internal control environment with this mandatory compliance. A mammoth effort is contemplated to remain compliant in year 2007.
“No project can be a success unless all its members involved in its deliverables have worked as a team,” states Bhikam Agarwal, Global SOx Project Sponsor, Executive Vice President, Finance. “I am proud to have a team with me that has worked relentlessly through the project and ensured timely delivery of our set milestones.”
