ArcelorMittal Perfiles Olaberría wins social responsibility award

The ArcelorMittal plant in Olaberría, Guipúzcoa, Spain has won the José Luis Pérez Award for Corporate Social Responsibility. The award was presented by Madrid Regional Government Minister for Employment and Women’s Affairs Juan José Güemes.
The award is organised by the Spanish HR portal “Capital Humano”. The jury felt that the ArcelorMittal steel sections plant had performed well in this important area of corporate management and had presented a project for the future capable of improving all aspects of social responsibility, from sustainable development to employee health and safety.
The plant is part of the Long Products Sector. Its social responsibility targets include meeting the needs of all customers, achieving profitable growth, creating value for all stakeholders, being an attractive organisation that values each and every employee and turning ArcelorMittal into a flexible organisation capable of achieving profitable growth, against a background of respect for sustainable development.
