Bold ArcelorMittal people meet the new brand
On June 4, 2007, ArcelorMittal employees at the corporate facilities in Luxembourg were introduced to the new brand, the advertising campaign and the new corporate movie at a festive event held in the courtyard of the headquarters.
“I invite you to be bold. This means taking initiatives and saying what you believe in order to transform the organisation,” GMB member Michel Wurth told the attendees. “People are at the heart of our organisation. Without all of you, coming from so many different countries, it would not be possible to be so successful in our integration,” he stated, adding: ”The brand reflects the strategy of the new company, who we are and what we stand for. We should be proud of what we are.”
Corporate employees then watched for the first time the new ArcelorMittal movie, presented at the Leadership Conference last week, giving it an enthusiastic ovation at the end, and mingled, enjoyed a barbecue and danced to the rhythm of the DJ until after midnight.
