I am afraid I cannot let say that “sea salt cause corrosion problems”.
Usibor is produced in Lorraine, coated in Mouzon plant. Lorraine ships about 300 ktons/year oversea, even in tropical countries, where heat and humidity are intensified factors of corrosion (Dominican Republic, Brazil, Mexico, Uruguay, etc.). We in Lorraine have a long experience in shipping overseas and know specific reinforced packaging that highly minimize corrosion risks during the transportation phase.
To transfer Usibor manufacturing to the US is a great idea, but corrosion is not the reason.

Unfortunately many of us here at Dofasco Canada are unable to watch these videos. With the changes we have gone through in our ownership and the uncertainty I personally would like to see these videos and what they are about.

Hi Carol Casanas,
Not sure if you have recieved the information you wanted or have resolved the issue and are now able to see the video’s. Nevertheless if the circumstances are still the same then please try the following:
1) Ensure you have flash player 8 installed (you’ll be able to find this in google its free)
2) ensure you have the latest Internet Explorer installed on your PC (I recommend version 6 with service pack 2)
all the best
Jay Shiyani
