In the competitive market surrounding the Americas, Arcelor Mittal is a key player, moreso than ever before. In this episode, we explore the changes that the integration is bringing to its competitors, employees, plants and customers.

As globalization takes hold and becomes a vital strategy, hear first-hand what some of Arcelor Mittal’s employees have to say about the challenges faced by the Americas, and how in the integration weaknesses can become strengths.

I also have a ARMONY computer and it works perfectly. You need the flash plugin to display the video.

Many workers said that when companies merge, they lose their jobs? can you tell me how does that happen? what connection it has withthe jobs?

Great way to keep employees informed as to what is going on with our “sister-companies”. I look forward to these vignettes if information. Great job!

    thanks for all these comments.

First, we are continuously working to improve the site, so there will be improvements, but give us a little bit of time, we have so many systems within the company ! Don’t give up :)

Also, it’s only natural that people think that their job is threatened by mergers. But this merger is a very complementary one, and soon employees will get other these first impressions.

The title of Chris has been corrected !

and the next episode is on it’s way. The Corporate Communication team is as thrilled as you are.

Too bad not all employees can view our merged companies new
episodes due to arbitrarily having that privilege revoked
because a few abused that right all of operations here @ I/N
Tek and I/N Kote were punished.A great way to start two way
communications. At least you were able to view it Jim but that’s right, you recently bidded into Equipment Control.

The video does not play. I am so keen, as a corporate communications consultant and columnist, to know whether employees have been given information in a transparent manner. This website is lovely, with its episodes. Are they all able to get into it? Is there more direct face to face communication to tell them whether their jobs are secure and what the culture of the company will be in the days to come?
